Is it Friday Yet?

Random Thoughts of the Day:

• I just read that Twilight 2 is slated to come out next November. Now, I liked Twilight but, seriously, November is Harry Potter time! If I had to choose between the two, I'd choose Harry, Ron, and Hermione any day...stop horning in on our beloved HP!

• Why exactly is Wednesday designated "hump day?" Who started this tradition? Do people take it seriously? Is Wednesday a better day to...ummm...hump...than any other day of the week?
  

• Why are there so many different ways to spell Channukah? I mean, I can kinda understand dropping the "C" to save some confusion but there are like 8 other variations! Can't we, as a society, put aside our knack for indecision and come up with one uniform spelling?

• Why does a work week consist of 5 days and a weekend only of 2? What kind of ratio is that and who came up with the preposterous idea? If I was president, I'd make it a 4 to 3 work week to weekend ratio...I think the world would be a much better place, or, at least happier!
